The Lara Puffer is smart and comfortable. I’m also pleased that it isn’t so long in the sleeve that I am swamped. The jacket looks good, feels comfortable to wear (feather lightweight, but quite cosy). It is water repellent and copes with light rain. Its only flaws are the lack of adjustment in the hood, no cords to draw it around the face, and the lack of a really usable internal pocket. The one it does have is not well positioned and you need to undo too much of the zip to access. Not good on a cold day. It hasn’t the quality feel of previous jackets I have had from Fatface, given that it costs £99.00, and it doesn’t quite as well padded. Fatface used to do coats that were designed for the outdoors, this is more fashion than fashionable and superbly functional outdoor wear for which Fatface were famous.
